UNA is named after my grandmother.

My grandmother had eighty-three years of stories inside her. Stories about leaving one life behind for another, about raising a family through impossible decades, about faith that carried her through things she never talked about — until someone finally asked.

I thought I had years to hear them all. I had six weeks.

After she passed, I realized the problem isn’t that people don’t have stories worth telling. It’s that no one builds a place worthy of keeping them. The way she said my name, the way she laughed at her own kitchen table — I never pressed record. She left me the silence that taught me what to build.

That’s what UNA is: a place worthy of what you have to say. Not a place to perform, or to chase a streak, or to feed anything. A calm, private room where the things that matter can be set down and kept for good.

Before I could build it, I had to say it out loud. So I wrote songs — a hundred and six of them, ten albums circling one question until I could finally answer it. I wrote the words; the voices that sing them were generated — the same merge of art and technology UNA itself would become. When the songs were finished, I built the place they had been asking for.

I believe your most personal moments deserve a privacy you don’t have to configure — the kind that’s built in.

I believe family stories are the most valuable things anyone will ever own, and that they’re disappearing every day.

I believe technology should protect what matters, not feed on it.

I’m trying to build something you’d trust with your most sacred thoughts without hesitating. That’s the whole ambition.

One more thing. You won’t find my name on this site. That’s on purpose — this place isn’t about me. It’s about what you keep.
