Accessibility

Made to be usable by everyone.

How I work with the settings your iPhone already knows. Last updatedJuly 23, 2026.

The people who most treasure a kept record are often the ones apps think about last — grandparents, parents whose eyes are tired by evening, hands that shake a little now. A family spans generations, and I want to be usable by every member of yours — including the ones who see, hear, or move through the world differently. Here is what you can count on, plainly.

VoiceOver

Every screen in UNA can be navigated with VoiceOver. Buttons and controls describe themselves plainly — writing an entry, hearing a reflection, entering the Sacred Vault. If VoiceOver is how you read, nothing in UNA is closed to you.

Larger Text

Text in UNA follows the size you've chosen in your iPhone's settings, including the largest accessibility sizes. Set it once; every screen listens.

Dark Interface

I follow your system appearance, light or dark. In the dark, every screen keeps its calm — and the Sacred Vault sits deliberately darker still. Some rooms are meant to feel like evening.

Reduced Motion

If you've turned on Reduce Motion, I hold still. Animations soften into simple changes, and nothing moves that doesn't need to.

If typing is hard, speak. If reading is hard, listen.

Entries don't have to be typed. Speak, and I'll write your words down — or keep the recording itself, your voice preserved as it is. And reflections don't have to be read: I can read them aloud to you. Tired eyes and busy hands are welcome here.

The Sacred Vault opens to Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode — whichever serves you best. No method is required over another.

If something is hard for you, I want to know.

Accessibility is not a checklist to me. It is whether your grandmother can actually use this — the app, and this website too. If a screen in UNA is hard to read, a button hard to reach, or a page here is confusing — write to me or email help@una.now. A person reads every message. That is already how support works here, and it will stay that way.

A quiet, private iPhone app for Latter-day Saints — daily reflections and a Sacred Vault for the things too tender to post.

“If not now, when?”

A quiet letter, now and then

No noise, no streaks. Only when there’s something worth keeping.
