I’d rather tell you plainly than have you wonder. Here is exactly where your words live.
Sacred entries — never sent to UNA’s servers
Whatever you place in the Sacred Vault — temple experiences, blessings, personal revelations — is never sent to UNA’s servers. This is the Sacred Wall: an architectural promise, not a preference. Not even UNA support can read those entries.
You may optionally create a sealed backup in your own iCloud Drive that only your Recovery Key can open. Apple operates iCloud availability and transport; UNA cannot recreate a lost key.
Everyday entries — sync when you choose
When the app shows that account backup and reflection service are available and you choose to use them, Today entries can be sent to UNA’s protected account service so they can be restored and used to form your reflections. They are never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to train a provider’s systems.
You choose what syncs, and you can keep sync off entirely and stay local-only.
Together and Tomorrow
Together memories, family stories, and Heartfelt messages are future previews. They are not available and do not sync in the first release.
You can always leave, with everything
Export it all, delete it all, whenever you like. A record that holds you hostage isn’t really yours.
