Named after my grandmother

My grandmother’s name was Una. She kept everything — letters, recipes, the small daily record of a long life. I always assumed I’d be able to ask her about it.

Then the keeping outpaced her. The boxes scattered, the handwriting faded, and by the time I went looking for her voice, most of it had already gone quiet.

I built this so that wouldn’t happen again. The name isn’t a brand exercise. It’s a promise: that the things you set down here will be kept the way she kept hers — patiently, reverently, and entirely yours.

There’s a question she used to ask when someone was putting off something that mattered. If not now, when? It turns out to be the only honest thing to say about keeping a record, too.

So we named it after her. And we try, every day, to build something she would have trusted.
