Our story
UNA is named after my grandmother.
She kept everything — and then, slowly, it was gone. UNA is the quiet place I wish she’d had.
A letter from the founder
Why we built UNA
My grandmother’s name was Una. She kept everything — letters in shoeboxes, recipes on index cards, the small daily record of a long and faithful life. For years I thought I’d always be able to ask her about it.
Then, slowly, the keeping outpaced her. The boxes scattered. The handwriting faded. By the time I went looking for her voice, most of it had already gone quiet.
I built UNA so that wouldn’t happen again — to me, or to you. Not a place to perform, or to chase a streak, or to feed anything. Just a calm, private room where the things that matter can be set down and kept for good.
We make UNA the way she kept her record: patiently, reverently, and entirely yours. If there’s something you don’t want to lose, there’s only one honest answer to when you should keep it.
